Mothers and Babies Freed from Hospital Through Global Mission Prayer Network Initiative

There was great joy and celebration as mothers and patients finally regained their freedom, restored their dignity, and returned home to continue with their normal lives.

There was great joy and celebration as mothers and patients finally regained their freedom, restored their dignity, and returned home to continue with their normal lives.

The mothers, babies, relatives, and friends expressed heartfelt gratitude to God through songs of praise, worship, and thanksgiving during a brief ceremony held after their release from the hospital.

Through the support of the Global Mission Prayer Network community, 99 women and babies were successfully released from the hospital after months of being unable to leave because of unpaid medical bills. Some of the women had remained in the hospital for more than five months due to outstanding maternity and treatment costs.

Their release became possible after successful discussions and negotiations with the hospital leadership to help settle the pending bills.

This initiative was a demonstration of Christ’s love through medical support and community service. Through the Mother & Child Freedom Initiative, a coordinated humanitarian program, resources were mobilized to clear or partially settle hospital bills, allowing mothers, babies, and other patients to return home with dignity.

During the thanksgiving service, leaders from the Global Mission Prayer Network, including Apostle Grace Komo, Apostle Thumbi, and Canon Lawrence Mbugua, thanked God for making the mission successful. They shared words of encouragement, prayed for the patients, and reminded them of God’s love and faithfulness.

At the Global Mission Prayer Network, the mission is to touch lives, spread hope, and transform communities through outreach and missions. Through its ministry, Global Hands of Grace, the organization continues to bring healing and hope by addressing healthcare needs in underserved communities.

The organization also expressed sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the initiative — including the Global Mission Prayer Network community, the hospital leadership, partners, and individuals who sacrificed their time and resources to ensure that mothers, babies, and patients were reunited with their families.

To God be the glory.
